In a resounding testament to pioneering leadership and unwavering commitment to innovation, Jose L. Flores, CEO of Ancor Automotive, orchestrated the grand unveiling of the Ancor Automotive Software Innovation Hub, situated within the bustling precincts of our global headquarters at 2360 Bellingham Drive in Troy, Michigan.

The inauguration event, graced by eminent personalities including Roberto Nicolas from the Mexican Consulate, Troy Mayor Ethan Baker, Kathryn Snorrason the Interim Chief of Mobility and an ensemble of executives from the technology and automotive industry, marked a pivotal moment in redefining the future of the automotive landscape.

Flores welcomed Troy Mayor Ethan Baker, who provided welcoming remarks and officially kicked off the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 11. Mayor Baker said he was extremely proud to celebrate the Innovation Hub as part of the greater Troy community. “We know this Innovation Hub will help set Ancor Automotive a part, which in turn will help set us a part in Metro Detroit,” Baker said.

One of the highlights of the grand opening celebration was a Michigan innovation panel taking place following the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Moderated by Ron Stefanski, host of DisruptED, the panel featured Senior Director of MICHauto Drew Coleman, Interim Chief Mobility Officer of Michigan’s Office of Future Mobility Kathryn Snorrason and CEO of GS3 Lisa Lunsford.

“The Ancor Software Innovation Hub is an example of how Michigan is leading in the battery and manufacturing space with the number of deals that are coming to Michigan, the number of jobs and investment,” Snorrason said. “We want companies to come to Michigan for their first step in innovation.”
